Soccer Memories Made

Siena and Parker had their last day of soccer today! They had so much fun this season and improved so much from beginning to end.
Siena made her first goal in her last game. It was so nice that Auntie Toots and Uncle Frank came to watch. This may have motivated her to
Score the goal.

Parker had loads of fun with his friends too! We are excited for next year. Now on to basketball!

Halloween was a success again this year. Lots of fun memories with friends! So many laughs!

The next morning, the kids asked, "if we can't eat any right now, can we sort it?" They worked on this for over a half an hour. Such a serious task!

Siena and Parker filled their marble jar with good behavior and their choice activity was going to a movie.

Box Trolls was a great reminder that you don't have to change who you are to fit in. Pretty cute!

Pumpkin Patch

Siena's Kindergarten field trip!

Why is the pumpkin patch such a fun experience for kids? I mean I get it! I love it too! But I was thinking, what would it be like if kids could visit their own farms/gardens every day? Picking other veggies and fruits as they were ready. Just curious!

A Year Gone By

Really? A year has gone by and I haven't updated this blog. This was my way to not only share our lives with friends and family, but to journal and document for my kids to go back and read later. I am so bummed that I just lost a year.

Instead of worrying any longer, I am starting again. Here goes.

Parker - 4 years old
Siena - 5 years old (6 next month)

Making memories

Parker started preschool This week and you can tell he is so proud! He feels like such a big boy! Siena has been so excited for him too!

Father's Day weekend picnic! Best dad in the world!

Em's baseball game. Parker actually sat through the entire game. This is a big accomplishment for him. He is really really growing up. He loves Sluggo.

Parker completed his first soccer class. It is amazing to see the improvements between the first and last class.

Home garden

My school's new garden has inspired to garden at home again. Though we only planted ten plants, we are busting with fresh veggies. The kids love planting, watering and picking it. Today we harvested a bunch of lettuce. The kids helped wash it and then we delivered it to the neighbors. So much fun!

Memorial Camping

We just completed our 9th annual Memorial Weekend camping trip with great friends! We have camped in that same location every year which means we are practically camp hosts. The kids had so much fun!!
