Why is the pumpkin patch such a fun experience for kids? I mean I get it! I love it too! But I was thinking, what would it be like if kids could visit their own farms/gardens every day? Picking other veggies and fruits as they were ready. Just curious!
Really? A year has gone by and I haven't updated this blog. This was my way to not only share our lives with friends and family, but to journal and document for my kids to go back and read later. I am so bummed that I just lost a year.
Instead of worrying any longer, I am starting again. Here goes.
Parker started preschool This week and you can tell he is so proud! He feels like such a big boy! Siena has been so excited for him too!
Father's Day weekend picnic! Best dad in the world!
Em's baseball game. Parker actually sat through the entire game. This is a big accomplishment for him. He is really really growing up. He loves Sluggo.
Parker completed his first soccer class. It is amazing to see the improvements between the first and last class.
My school's new garden has inspired to garden at home again. Though we only planted ten plants, we are busting with fresh veggies. The kids love planting, watering and picking it. Today we harvested a bunch of lettuce. The kids helped wash it and then we delivered it to the neighbors. So much fun!
We just completed our 9th annual Memorial Weekend camping trip with great friends! We have camped in that same location every year which means we are practically camp hosts. The kids had so much fun!!
It feels like so long ago that we were preparing for Parker to be born. Yet now, here we are, and he is soon to be 3 years old. Here are a few pictures Siena and I found today. Love my little ones. Can't imagine my life without them.
